As a curatorial consultant for the District of Columbia Public Libraries, Lee advised DCPL on approaches to deepen public understanding of social justice struggles in Washington, DC, through dynamic programming, resonant exhibitions, and engaging storytelling.

This was a complex project that involved many stakeholders and consultants. In her role, Lee provided critical feedback on the development of the seminal exhibition in the newly renovated King Library, highlighting its broad scope and the need to streamline content for effective visitor engagement. Her guidance underscored the project's potential to create a compelling narrative that resonates across diverse audiences, while also leveraging digital resources and interactive elements to enhance learning and community dialogue.
