Honoring Partnerships and Projects
We were privileged to collaborate with extraordinary colleagues from the Smithsonian, Monadnock Media, the Levi Watkins Learning Center, and the State of Maryland, among others. Their insights, creativity, and dedication made every project more meaningful.
Highlights of the year included working with Northwestern University and National Geographic on groundbreaking initiatives that expand notions of inclusion and belonging. Sources was honored to partner with an exceptional team at Signature Design to reimagine the Hofwyl-Broadfield Plantation State Historic Site. Together, we explored complex histories and created experiences that invite reflection and inspire dialogue. These collaborations demonstrate how much stronger and more impactful our work becomes when we combine expertise from multiple sectors.
Celebrating Shared Achievements
This year brought milestones that reflect the potential of our work to drive meaningful change. Dr. Calinda N. Lee was elected president of the Southeastern Museums Conference, an honor she embraced with deep dedication to the museum field. She is excited to use this opportunity to build bridges across institutions and disciplines, foster community and meaningful inclusion, and showcase innovation within the sector.
Another proud moment for Sources was becoming credentialed to lead federal contracts, a development that broadens our ability to contribute to significant projects across the cultural sector.
